Hello, my name is David and I'm a designer of digital products and services. My role is to internalize complex domains, learn how people interact within those domains, and create products and services which enhance that experience.

Over the course of my career, each domain—whether airline operations, fitness wearables, or enterprise applications—has been an opportunity to learn more about how the world works, imagine how it could work better, and design experiences that make peoples lives more efficient and enjoyable.

In the last few years, I’ve become particularly interested in designing for two domains: productivity and creativity. How people and organizations use technology to accomplish their goals may seem dull on the surface, but the depth and breadth of design opportunities are endless. With so many people working so hard with out-dated or ill-conceived products and processes, I delight in the opportunity to have a positive impact in their professional and personal lives.

Day-to-day, I thrive in a collaborative environment working closely with team members, stakeholders, and subject-matter experts to immerse myself in a given domain. By understanding its complexities and the people working within them, I work to make design decisions that are informative, persuasive, and satisfying.
